Happy 20th Birthday Camille!!

August 2nd 1988... we were dropped off at my Grandma & Grandpa Meyer's house in the morning while my mom and dad went to the hospital to have a baby. My mom was almost 38 years old at the time and people thought she and my dad were crazy to have another baby... which would be their 6th child. Being 8 years old myself and already having 2 younger brothers, I hoped and prayed for a little sister! I don't remember the exact time of the day, but I remember seeing the station wagon pull up in front of my grandparents house and I remember running outside and asking my dad, what is it? What is it? And when he said.... "It's a girl!" I jumped and screamed and threw my arms up into the air like crazy!! I was soooo excited and happy to have a little sister!! I remember feeling an instant bond with her, even as a baby. And ever since, we've been totally tight, even though she's 8 years younger than me. The many wonderful memories of sharing a room together. We had a blast! It was quite interesting also asking a 3 year old her opinion of my outfit every morning. Cami has always been a wonderful example to me in so many ways. And now she is one of my bestest friends! I'm so glad my parents were in tuned with the spirit enough to know and feel that someone was missing from our family! Our family definately would not be complete without Cami!
