HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY SADEE!

Today, August 15th, is Sadee's birthday. She is 2 years old!! Sadee is quite the interesting child. When pregnant with her, I was told that she might have Downs Syndrome. It was a very humbling experience for us and we learned so much about ourselves and about the Plan of Salvation. Even if she had a disability, we didn't care and we would love her and take care of her no matter what. Well, when she was born, a week late... she didn't have Downs, but did have several heart problems. I felt comforted about the situation and knew that she would be ok. We went to a cardiologist when she was a few days old and he said that we would just wait during the first year to see if it got better or worse. Well, at her 9 month visit to the cardiologist, everything was gone. All of her heart problems were totally gone! The Dr. was amazed. Sadee has never really seemed like a baby. She has always been so motivated and just a little go getter. Very independent and just learns everything so quickly. She gets herself dressed everyday, she puts her own shoes on, she helps clean up her room, she holds her own when it comes to other children, she has almost potty trained herself, she'll try to give herself a bath and wash herself, she knows how to turn on the computer and tries to get online to play games, ect ect.... she's just so funny. She keeps us on our toes, but teaches us so many things everyday. She just never gives up and will work on a task until it's done..... no matter how hard it is. She is willing to ask for help though when she really needs it, but she never gives up. She is a great example to us and we love her and appreciate her so much!! Happy Birthday Sadee.... We Love You!!
