The events of our day.....
-So we got up at left Plumas Lake at 8am to try to make it for 9am church in Oroville. Jason was so stressed about getting there on time thinking that we needed to get there really early to get a seat. Cause that's how it is with our ward. We showed up at 8:45am and the place was empty. So we were able to sit in the chapel, which rarely happens in our home ward. We were able to see some great friends from our growing up years and they were all able to see our children. Last time we were in the Oroville 3rd ward, Isaiah was a baby. We were able to sit with my Grandma Meyer, which was so nice. And also see my brother Dustin bless the Sacrament. It had been years since I've seen him do that. We had a great time visiting our 3rd ward friends.
-We then were able to go be with my Grandma Meyer and visit with her. It was a nice visit!
-Then we went to Jason's family's house and the kids were able to play with their cousins and we had an Easter Egg hunt and just hung out. Tim made a delicious ham. He tried something different and I was they only one that absolutely loved the ham. I'm not usually a big fan of ham, even though I'll eat it. But the texture of it is nasty to me. But Tim baked his ham with pinapple and there was a chalky glaze over the whole thing. So I loved it.
- After that, we went to my parents house and had another huge delicious dinner! Most of the local family was there and it was so wonderful and fun hanging out with everyone. Pork Roast, homemade rolls, Jane's potatoes, Pasta Salad, Jello Salad, Stuffing, grapes, and to top it off.... Pumpkin Sheet cake with Cream Cheese Frosting!
- The tradition at my parents house is... every Easter my dad hides plastic eggs in the front yard with our name on it. And in the egg is some money. Wahooo! :-) This year, Cami, Becka (her friend) and Derek hid them. Jason hates this tradition because he's always the last one to find his egg. Him and Jared were tied this year though.
The many tables of people... I forgot to take a pic of the kids' tables outside.

Mom is ALWAYS in the kitchen cooking. It was delicious mom... thank you!

You can never be too old to play with blocks.... just ask Derek(my bro) and Jared (my cuz)

The Great Easter Egg Hunt.... now this isn't your regular egg hunt. This is intense and they're hidden in some crazy spots!

Grandma and Elijah. Elijah found his egg so fast....

Cami found her egg... but needed some assistance getting to it. Jason's egg was up there too.

Is it a bird? It is Tarzan? No... it's Uncle Craig!!! Have you ever seen a 50+ year old man in a tree? Well... here you go. Uncle Craig searching for his egg. Well... it wasn't in the tree, it was in the grass by the trunk of the tree. Sometimes it's all about simplicity. :-)

Jared finally found his egg... it was buried in a small hole in the grass.

The Ladies Hat Club.... For the grand daughters' prizes they got Easter Bonnets. My mom has a hat from her mom, my Grandma King. So they decided to all take a picture together with their hats.

Jason, Joel and Elijah

Here's the group.... My Uncle Craig was missing though because he was running some food to my cuz Michael. We're also missing 3 of Raquel's girls and her hubby. I LOVE HAVING A BIG FAMILY!

What a fun egg hunt! I never hide eggs for the adults! What a great idea!;)
that is a crazy egg hunt...creative hiding places! Donny's parents do a big kids egg hunt with money & gift certificates, but it is a free for all...very crazy watching Donny and his brothers all competing. But, so much fun!!!
It was so nice to see pictures of the fam'! Thanks for posting these -- I've missed the Meyer clan!
