He's a comin'!

So I started having contractions this morning at 1am. They hurt, but they weren't unbearable. I could still talk through them. I had them 10 mins. apart until 5:30am. I thought for sure that I'd be having the baby today, but they totally stopped at 5:37am. I went down to my OB appt. and he said I was like a 2 1/2-3cm. WHAT? I went through all of that last night and only dialated 1 cm? AY! My Dr. said that he wants to induce me though and will do so tomorrow night. That's when he's working. So we'll see what happens. Right now, I'm having the contractions 8-10 mins. apart, but they're just hurting and not totally intense. I will admit, I'm already tired and am tempted to get an epidural. I've never had one. But no matter what, by friday, I should be holding this little baby boy. Am I nervous? Yes! Labor is not a joyful experience, yet so worth it! My next post will probably be of our new little McOmber!! Wish me luck.... I just hope I have enough strength to get through this all.
