Feather Fiesta Days

On Saturday we went up to Oroville for the annual Feather Fiesta Days Parade. It was a lot of fun, as usual. The kids got a ton of candy! It was sad though because the belly dancers weren't in it this year. :-( hahaha After the parade, my mom offered to take the children home so Jason and I could walk around the car show. So we were able to be reminded of what it's like to only have 1 child again. We ate some great Tri-tip sandwiches, saw hundreds of amazing restored old cars, went to Ron's Drive inn and got a fresh blueberry shake and had a blast! Jason and I were acting like little kids again. Ya, we don't get out too often alone with each other. But anyway, I wasn't able to take a ton of pictures... but here are some from the parade.
Part of our group

The driver of this Nascar is Quintin, Jason's cousin. He races Nascar in Roseville right now and is slowly moving up the ladder. He is an amazing driver!

Anyone want some candy?

The fireman was having fun....

The Barth Family joined us this year. And yes, Raeanne is pregnant and due less than 2 weeks. Doesn't she look great though?

Cami and some her friends from Chico.

More of our group

My brother in law Danny loves his land cruiser! He's part of a rock crawling club and they show us a little of what they're rigs are capable of.

That was tons of fun. I loved watching my kids faces. Good to see you there! It is nice that you live so close to be able to come up for little times like the parade!

oh man, I really miss stuff like that. We use to have our same corner every year. My dad would park that old beater truck there the night before. Then we would go and get doughnut and chocolate milk before the parade started. Good times!!!
