Isaiah did his first real research paper and presentation. I can't believe the things 1st graders do nowadays. I don't think I did a report until 4th grade! Anyway, he did his on porcupines. He did a great job! We are so proud of him! I love how we as parents learn just as much as the kids do. Here's an interesting fact about porcupines that I didn't know....
- When they attack... they turn their back to their enemy, raise their 30,000 quills and attack with their tail. The quills only come out if their enemy comes in contact with them. And they are very docile animals. They only attack in self defense.. hey, that sounds a lot like me. hehe
